Our clinic uses modern digital methods of radiation diagnostics. Along with the already familiar intraoral digital images, panoramic radiography, doctors widely use in their work cone beam computed tomography (CBCT). This technique allows you to see the study area in three projections and in 3D volume, which significantly expands the possibilities of diagnosis, treatment plan and control after the measures taken.
KaVo’s Gendex GXDP -700 Tomograph provides maximum efficiency and flexibility with its modular system.
The flexibility of the system provides for the possibility of obtaining images in 2D or 3D.
Diagnostics using computed tomography are reliable and simple. The irradiation zone is clearly limited by a cone-shaped beam. It passes only through a small area of the diagnosed jaw, resulting in a three-dimensional image of excellent resolution.
The radiation dose is minimal. A computer program in minutes reproduces a digital three-dimensional image. The dentist can view it in more detail along any of the three axes, at the desired interval or in layers.
